BriteSmile Tooth Whitening
New York City, Manhattan, Queens

We
are one of the first offices in New York City to offer the
new BriteSmile 3000 state-of-the-art technology to whiten
teeth and enormously enhance personal appearance and esthetics.
Our new system delivers truly amazing results, whitening teeth
an average of nine shades in just over an hour. There are
over one hundred and thirty BriteSmile Bleaching Centers in
the United States which have successfully treated thousands
of patients.
How
does it work?
 Our
system, which uses gas plasma light technology, plus a new proprietary
bleaching gel, has created a revolutionary method of teeth
whitening which quickly, safely, and effectively whitens all
teeth at once. The primary ingredient in BrightSmile’s
gel is hydrogen peroxide, which is recognized as an effective
ingredient by the dental community. Even so, the percentage
of hydrogen peroxide in BriteSmile’s proprietary gel
is only 15%, far lower than most other whitening products
which may contain as much as 35%-50% hydrogen peroxide. Our
innovative light system activates the hydrogen peroxide in
the gel and speeds up the whitening procedure, so you leave
in just over an hour with your teeth at their optimal whiteness.
Most other procedures only offer as few as 3 - 5 shades of change. Please
keep in mind that you may have the BriteSmile procedure performed
in our office and continue to see your current dentist. We
will be happy to supply “before and after” photographs
and any other details your dentist feels would be appropriate.
Is
It Safe?
Yes.
Unlike the "do-it-yourself" take-home bleaching trays, our
dentists oversee every aspect of your BriteSmile procedure.
Before you can even move forward with your procedure, our
dentists do a thorough examination to ensure both teeth and
surrounding tissue are acceptable. Your BriteSmile procedure will not soften
enamel or damage existing fillings. Independent safety studies
conducted at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New
Jersey and reviewed by researchers at New York University
found conclusively that the BriteSmile procedure results
in no structural changes in teeth.
Will
It Hurt?
The BriteSmile teeth whitening process is normally painless.
A very small percentage of people may experience a minor,
dull "ache" following the procedure. Taking an ibuprofen or
Tylenol almost always resolves the feeling. It is best to
avoid very hot or very cold drinks for the first 24 hours
if there is any tooth sensitivity.
Is This Procedure for Everyone?
Virtually everyone wanting to brighten his or her teeth can
benefit from using BriteSmile, including people with severe
food and tobacco or tetracycline stains. However, extremely
dark teeth that may need changes of 20+ shades would require more
than one treatment.
