General dentist in New York City, Dr. Kamen Genov, D.D.S. was born in Varna, Bulgaria. He graduated high school
with a degree in Mathematics and Natural Sciences in 1988, earning
a Gold Medal. He received his DDS degree from the Medical Academy,
Department of Dentistry, in Sofia. Upon graduation, he completed a hospital
residency in General Dentistry for one year at the Regional Hospital
in Varna, Bulgaria. He has subsequently moved to New York and graduated from New
York University Dental School.
He
is a member of the Omega Chapter Society, membership to which is
awarded to the top 5% of students at the university. He was awarded
a Gold Medal in Endodontics, which is given to one student every
year for high practical and academic achievements in this field.
He has achieved the postgraduate specialty program in Endodontics at New York University.
Dr.
Genov enjoys classical singing and has performed in several operas,
concerts and recitals in Bulgaria, Germany and the United States.
He also enjoys reading, volleyball and swimming, and speaks English,
Russian, German and Bulgarian.
