Dr. Gil Dechavez obtained his dental degree from NYU College of Dentistry. Afterwards he completed one year of residency at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center, Department of Dental Medicine and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Having worked at several dental laboratories in New York, he has extensive knowledge of dental laboratory procedures. Prior to obtaining his DDS degree, Dr. Gil was a co-owner of a quality oriented laboratory, where he served as head dental ceramist. His laboratory experience helps him greatly in providing quality veneers, crowns and bridges, as well as in the customization of restorations milled by our CEREC machines. Fabricating porcelain crowns has now become a hobby; occasionally he goes to the lab to do so himself. This keeps him updated with what’s new in the dental laboratory field. Dr. Gil’s interests include playing tennis, fishing and spending time with his wife and two children.
